
What is your motivation to eat? It is generally for one of three reasons:
Many people reason that they only eat when they are hungry. But think about the last fight you had with a loved one. What did you do? You ate.
Think about coming home after a stressful day at work. You deserve that ice cream or that cocktail, don't you?
What about when you are thinking about your personal debt load? You worry a lot, so what do you do? You eat!
And what about those nights when you stay up and watch your favorite movies, or your favorite television shows. What makes us HAVE to eat something while we are watching?
This is what Dr. Perry calls "Medicating." And he is here to help. The Perry Plan believes that there are three reasons why we eat. What it will teach you is how to stop eating to medicate, and how to eat more for nutrition.
It will teach you how to recognize your eating patterns, and will give you simple, yet important steps to replace bad eating patterns with more productive behavior.
